Mineral springs are considered a true symbol of health. More than a hundred mineral springs can be found in the wider surroundings of Mariánské Lázně and about forty in the spa town itself. All the local curative springs yield cold acidulous water with temperatures ranging between 7 and 10 °C. The significant difference in their chemical composition allows the drinking cure to target a wide range of various organ diseases. The mineral water quantity prescribed for the drinking cure varies depending on the diagnosis and the condition of the patient. Before commencing the drinking cure, always consult your attending physician about which mineral springs and in what quantity are suitable for you.

A true gem of the Nové Lázně Hotel, the Royal Cabin was built in Neo-Renaissance style according to the design of architect Josef Schaffer in 1896. The cabin was named after King Edward VII of England who enjoyed mineral baths here during his spa stays in Mariánské Lázně between the years 1897 and 1909. The cabin has an entrance area with a rest room and its second part serves for bathing. The original bathtub, copper and brass steam boiler, sofa, and central heating have been preserved.
